My own journey through anxiety and misdiagnosis showed me that healing does not come from a prescription pad. It comes from understanding the whole person. In practice, I have felt like there is something missing in the traditional western medicine approach to mental health. Patient after patient only seeing minimal improvements with pharmaceuticals. I kept searching for answers or reasoning to help my patients. This is when I came across the work of leading functional medicine psychiatrist, Dr James Greenblatt. I attended the Psychiatry Redefined Functional Psychiatry Fellowship and spent over a year absorbing insights in neuroscience and root cause care. I’ve shifted my practice to a functional and integrative psychiatry approach with emphasis on incorporating Christianity, caring for the mind, body and spirit.

Our Services and Specialty Areas

Medication Management  & safe Discontinuation

While medication may be helpful in some situations, our goal is to minimize reliance on it through holistic, evidence-based care. If you’re ready to taper off medication, we provide careful guidance and monitoring so the process is safe, gradual, and supportive for your body and mind.

Genetic Testing & Functional Medicine Labs

Your genetics, nutrient pathways, inflammation levels, detox capacity, hormone regulation, and stress response all influence mental health. Through genetic testing and functional medicine labs, we uncover the biological factors affecting how you feel, allowing us to create a personalized, science-based treatment plan.

Depression & Emotional Numbness Support

If you feel emotionally numb, disconnected, or like you’re “not yourself anymore,” we help uncover the underlying causes. Factors like inflammation, neurotransmitter imbalance, nutrient deficiencies, chronic stress, trauma, or hormonal shifts can all contribute to depression and emotional disconnection.

Anxiety and Panic
Support

Our root-cause approach to anxiety and panic helps uncover why symptoms are happening. Mineral imbalances, chronic stress, trauma history, nutrient deficiencies, gut-brain dysfunction, and genetics may all play a role. Understanding the cause allows us to create a clear plan so you can feel calm and in control again.

Insomnia and Sleep Restoration

Sleep challenges like insomnia, early waking, light sleep, or non-restorative sleep often have deeper biological causes. We explore factors such as cortisol imbalance, nutrient deficiencies, circadian rhythm disruption, trauma, anxiety, or hormonal changes to help your body return to its natural sleep rhythm.

ADHD Testing and
Support

We look beyond ADHD symptoms to understand the underlying causes of focus challenges, overwhelm, and executive dysfunction. Genetics, nervous system dysregulation, nutrient or hormone imbalances, and chronic stress may contribute. With the right insights and support, you can feel calmer, clearer, and more capable.

Autism Assessment and Support

Our approach to autism support focuses on understanding strengths while helping individuals navigate a neurotypical world. We shift the perspective from viewing autism as a limitation to recognizing unique abilities, providing personalized guidance that supports confidence, communication, and everyday functioning.

Trauma-Focused
Patient Care

Trauma-informed care means understanding your full story. By exploring your life experiences and psychosocial history, we gain insight into how past events shaped your coping patterns and emotional responses, helping create a personalized path toward healing, resilience, and long-term mental wellness.
